Representatives of several minority language communities from around the world are currently in the Basque Country through the Garabide Association, taking part in training sessions on the revitalization of their languages and cultures. On Wednesday, they visited Durango to learn about local experiences. Among them are members of the Nasa community, which lives in southern Colombia. The Durango Town Council has a cooperation agreement to support the development of this community. Luis Evelio Velasco Noscue and Maria del Pilar Casamachin Jule are members of the Nasa community.
