Cooperative, fighting for land and language

The Tosepan Titataniske Cooperative was created 42 years ago. It was launched by members of the Maseual indigenous people. They are developing a resistance project in the municipality of Cuetzalan, in the northeast of the Mexican state of Puebla. It is probably no coincidence that 80% of the people living in the lands where Tosepan is located still use their native language. Their language is called Nahuatl. The main objective of the organization is to defend the land. They must be careful not to lose either the land or the language
