As part of the Garabide Association’s Language Revitalization Program, language activists from thirteen minority language communities have arrived in the Basque Country. Yesterday, September 25, they were officially welcomed at Aretxabaleta Town Hall by Mayor Gari Iturbe. They will spend six weeks visiting different parts of the Basque Country to learn about a variety of language revitalization experiences.
